From their email:

Dear Humanoid:

Intergalactic blogging celebrities unite! The launching of Exquisitely Bored in Nacogdoches into outer space elation at the coordinates of 28° 23' 18" longitude and 80° 36' 19" latitude at 6:29pm EST on Aug 04, 2006 was a success worthy of external satisfaction. A satisfaction so sweet to a job well done the Blog in Space team is almost certain "those" receiving your message will be grateful to cuddle up and read them with the intergalactic equivalent to a Grande Americano with two shots of white _mocha.

Continue to showcase your intergalactic fame by posting your personalized, extremely rare certificate on your site. Yours is one in only thousands and we discourage the selling of this on Ebay for such a rarity. Let your valiant efforts be shown and take pride in becoming one of the first bloggers to discover an outer life so mysterious, so unknown and so distant that only your compelling words could bring them forth
(what a great concept!). Blog in Space admires your bravery.

When Telling the World Simply Isn't Enough.

Friendly Green Wishes,

- The Blog in Space Team

Let me just say to my intergalactic readers: Klaatu barada nikto!

Is it scary that I knew immediately what film that sentence was from?

I remember one Halloween one of the tv stations showed The Day the Earth Stood Still in was pretty awesome, I have to say.

It isn't scary at all. Alot of people would probably recognize it. It's classic '50s sci-fi. It's like Invasion of the Body Snatchers in terms of its revealing the national paranoia of the McCarthy-era.

And then there's this.
