Trekkies
To help commemorate the 40th anniversary of the premiere of Star Trek, Wired started a group at Flickr for people to submit their Trek-related photographs. My Gene Roddenberry autograph scan made the final cut.
Here's why (from Wired):
The popularity of one of the oldest sci-fi universes has waxed and waned over the years, but the fervor of its fans has not. In honor of Star Trek's 40th anniversary, we've compiled 40 reader-submitted images. They capture memories, jokes and costumes from fans inspired by the show. From adolescent art to cherished memorabilia, the scope of the Trek's impact on its audience and our culture is best reflected through the artifacts collected by the people it touched.
