Whilst searching for a video for Alan Hawkshaw's "Next Stop L.A." (which I was unable to find), I came across these two equally wonderful Hawkshaw songs (and accompanying videos) instead. Any world in which someone made music such as this can't be all bad. It teeters on the edge of being Muzak (particularly "Bluebird"), but that may be what I like about it."Girl in a Sports Car"

I thought "Girl in a Sports Car" was originally a Roy Budd composition from "Get Carter"...hmmm...
It would appear the song (from the 1971 original) was titled "Girl in a Car."
