"Return to Pepperland" is the title track to a collection of songs Paul McCartney recorded in 1986 and 1987. Phil Ramone was the producer. Most of the songs remain unreleased, while others were re-recorded for later albums. Some were used as CD-single B-sides. A couple ("We Got Married" and "This One") ended up on McCartney's 1989 "comeback" album Flowers in the Dirt.
Of course, Pepperland is the "cheerful music-loving paradise under the sea, protected by Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" (source) in the cartoon Yellow Submarine (1968). I'm not sure about the other tracks on this "unreleased" album, but I love "Return to Pepperland." It's very melodic and reminds me (ironically) more of XTC than The Beatles:
