Glimpses of the pre-digital world

I found these photographs in a tattered old photofinishing envelope at my grandfather's. They were taken during a 1934 vacation in Mexico City and while he was stationed in London, England, during W.W. II. I scanned them, and I'm afraid they don't look quite as nice as the originals. They're still pretty cool, though. The world these photos captured is long gone. They might as well have been taken during the 1800s.

I felt they might be shareworthy. It's nice to know someone agrees!
