Between Nacogdoches and Lufkin, Highway 59 South, around Redland. No trace of the person or organization behind it anywhere on the sign itself (that's weird).

In defense of Jimmy Carter, imagine if you will any leader in the past thirty years making the kind of speech to Americans like the "cardigan speech," where Carter said we are going to have make some sacrifices. That's leadership...and it's been missing.jemison
He sure didn't play politics (to his detriment). Certainly rare!
Was that the same speech in which he said the country was in a malaise? My Dad says you would watch a Carter State of the Union or speech to an American TV audience and just be completely depressed afterward. Malaise indeed.
