Houston
I found this one in a weed-covered, cracked cement parking lot, behind a row of abandoned commercial buildings, in a "rough" part of Houston, while looking for a totally different sign (which was gone). The font on this one caught my eye.

Eagle Lake
In the town where my mom and dad met during high school. This building burned to the ground about a year and a half ago, along with the sign (I'm assuming).

Groveton
The owner came out while I was taking this picture and told me the sign was for sale ($5,000). According to her, it still lit up, but the wires smoked after it'd been on for a while. She told me it was from the '40s. Someone must have taken her up on the offer, because the sign is no longer there.

7: Worth every penny. I like little Groveton.
13: Great shop. Rail, aircraft, ships, cars, etc.
Groveton is a nice little place. The courthouse is currently being renovated (as you probably know). And yes, I kick myself now for not getting that sign!
