I ended up touring the Coke Museum last weekend with the fam and learned that the bottlers were separate and independent from the Coca-Cola company itself. Just hadn't stopped to think about such things. I guess Crockett's bottling company has since moved into a bigger building?
I love the bas relief bottle carving over the door - it's like a Coke bottle out of Greek mythology!
I guess that was in Atlanta, Amy? Sounds like the individual bottlers must be like McDonalds franchisees. Yes, they have definitely moved into a more modern facility.
Isn't that great? It's what lured me to it in the first place. Haha - that is fairly dramatic. As if it's one of the twelve labors of Hercules, or something.
