Arte y Pico

Perched high upon my mantle

gilligan at retrospace has selected this blog to be awarded the coveted Arte y Pico Award. "Arte y Pico" roughly translates (from Spanish to English) as "The Best Art," so that's a good thing. To show my appreciation for this esteemed acknowledgment, I now bestow the same honor upon five blogs I like, similarly worthy of the award (I could have listed all of my linkers):

  • Captain Incredible, Captain Incredible

  • Samurai Frog, Electronic Cerebrectomy

  • Hooliganyouth, Hooligan Youth Reviews

  • Sean Payne, Sign Language

  • The well-mannered, ursine millionaire, THE GENTLEBEAR

Should these bloggers choose to participate, they are obliged to abide by the following (or else):

    Rules:

    1) You have to pick 5 blogs that you consider deserve this award, creativity, design, interesting material, and also contributes to the blogger community, no matter of language.

    2) Each award has to have the name of the author and also a link to his or her blog to be visited by everyone.

    3) Each award-winning, has to show the award and put the name and link to the blog that has given her or him the award itself.

    4) Award-winning and the one who has given the prize have to show the link of "Arte y Pico" blog, so everyone will know the origin of this award.

    5) To show these rules.

    3. Chris - thank you kindly for this award, and my apologies for the delay in acknowledging, but affairs of state have had to take precedence over affairs of, er, state [sic]...

If I may say, I always enjoy your blog, especially your photography of small-town America. I often wonder what it might have been like, to live in those towns, those times.

      Don't stop now, sir...
