Hearne, Texas (population: 4,690), is 9 miles S of Calvert, 18 miles NW of Bryan, and 12 miles SW of Franklin. It's a Texas town (like so many) that grew due to its being a railroad "crossroads."
The Hearne Depot was moved to its current location back in 2000 and is awaiting its ultimate restoration.
