pine blogger, I have seen that mashup. I almost included it in this post. I'll never think of this movie again without hearing the voice over guy say "Shining" so gleefully.
lisa, I tried to shy away from the truly gory/horrible moments (this is a PG-rated blog!). That is a fun fact. He shouldn't have felt bad about losing to Danny Lloyd. He was very good in the role.
That's the thing about the Shining, once you've seen it all the way through, even the innocuous stuff seems horrifying. Actually you don't have to see it all the way through, just the part with the twins...
