For better, or worse, another link to old Vegas is closing.

It's demolition is set to take place in early 2007. Progress, I guess. This is what that'll look like (using footage of Sinatra's old haunt coming down):
It just doesn't seem right.
ReplyDeleteNo, it definitely doesn't Vegas apparently isn't a place that puts any value on its past.
ReplyDeleteIt is so terribly sad such landmarks are disappearing in Vegas on a daily basis. Unfortunately, it is cheaper to tear down and start over than to renovate. I guess that leaves the Flamingo( which is a Motel 8 now) since the Frontier is gone.

ReplyDeleteYes, that is what I was told when my boss was searching for a hotel in Vegas that the Flamingo was now a Super 8.... keep in mind he is know to make mistakes so I don't know if that is true or not.
