Old Causeway comes down

It made me sad to see in The Galveston County Daily News that the Causeway in Galveston Island (Texas) is in the beginning stages of deconstruction. A new one has been built and opened last month, but I have a sense of sentimentality about the one I grew up driving on as a kid.



I took these last month when going down to Galveston:
