Where's Olive?

I haven't seen any other "performance by an actress in a supporting role," but it doesn't matter - she should win. And while The Departed is awfully darn good great brilliant (and I've not seen Babel yet), the Academy could do worse than to give Little Miss Sunshine movie of the year.

I was scared to see this because people compared it to "You and Me and Everyone Else" which is one of my #1 hated movies of all time. But it looks really good. Is it really good?

lisa, I IMDb-ed "You and Me and Everyone Else," and I think they may have meant Me and You and Everyone We Know(?). Either way, it doesn't matter, because I've not seen either one. All I can tell you is that Little Miss Sunshine is a good movie. It's worth a look. It reminded me in parts of Sideways, in that, both movies are character studies, both involve road trips, and the music was similar.

D'oh, see, I hated it so much I completely botched the title! Sorry.

It's a great movie. Be prepared to laugh and cry, and then laugh harder than you've laughed in a long time near the end. As far as I'm concerned, I would be tickled pink if it took home Best Pic/Best Supporting Acress/Best Supporting Actor.
